Getting A Raise: The Cast Of Ted Lasso Lands Huge Pay Raises For Season 3

It looks like Jason Sudeikis and the cast of Ted Lasso are getting a huge pay raise going into the 3rd season of the show. Ted Lasso has been a critical success and is something of a cult favorite for Apple TV+, and the cast is getting a shocking salary increase to reflect it.

Ted Lasso only just returned to Apple TV+ for its second season this summer, but "Ted Heads," as the show's ardent fans have taken to calling themselves, are already eagerly awaiting the series third and final season which will air next summer.

The Hollywood Reporter has now confirmed that the stars and writers have all gotten generous pay raises for season three, which will take its leading man, Sudeikis, close to the top of the list for highest-paid TV actors.

Sudeikis, who plays a college football coach in the sports comedy-drama, has been making $250,000 to $300,000 an episode for the first two seasons. His initial salary was negotiated before the show became a bona fide. The show has received widespread acclaim since its release and was nominated for 20 Emmy nominations, including a win for Outstanding Comedy Series.

Negotiations going into the third season have gone well for the cast. Sudeikis will be earning an eye-watering $1 million per episode for all of his roles on the show, which include being the head writer and executive producer. With the pay raise, Sudeikis will be among the top paid actors on TV.

Sudeikis isn’t the only one getting significant raise. The Hollywood Reporter also reports that castmates Hannah Waddingham, Brett Goldstein, Juno Temple, and Brendan Hunt all got raises as well, taking them from $50,000-$75,000 per episode to $125,000-$150,000. Other actors are also expected to close on their deals in the next few weeks, undoubtedly getting hefty pay increases.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Sudeikis is already worth a respectable $25 million. This pay increase is sure to boost his wealth. Sudeikis has steadily been building his fortune since he got his big break on Saturday Night Live in 2003 as a writer. He started appearing in films in 2007 with roles in Watching the Detectives, The Ten, and Meet Bill. Since then, Sudeikis has been in several films and television series.
